I'm working on some drawings that revolve around squaring up, and am, in parallel, utterly bewitched by some Michelangelo figures. So here's the painstaking groundwork for a big drawing where I've taken an image of the dying slave, converted to gray scale, mirrored left to right, gridded, laser-printed and trimmed each page. All this is to create the basis of the drawing, a square by square solvent transfer onto a big irregular piece of watercolour paper. Then what? I have no idea.
